With a global monopoly, or global communism, we can release the need for third shift. Third shift was created because business owners had to pay their rent. Paying $10,000 a month is still $10,000 a month regardless if you operate over night or not. So to make as much profit as possible they decided to create 3rd shift and keep factories running all night long.
With global communism we don’t need to worry about how much the factory pays in rent. The factory and the company being paid rent to are the same place after we merge.
Rent, property tax, same thing.
With global communism, we can eliminate 3rd shift manufacturing. We still may need hospitals open. My plan for hospitals is that doctors and nurses could go home at 11pm. The earliest next day shift could be at 6 or 7. If we don’t allow bars and other businesses to be open after 10pm, then there’s less of a chance for someone to get into a car accident and need to be brought to the hospital. Over night staff at a hospital could be robots where they set you up to a room and you have to wait for the nurses to come in in the morning.
