What is Satan or the Devil can only do evil to you, in exchange for what you traded. Like you wanted to be smarter so they made you smart but he and his demons get to choose what evil acts they do to you for the exchange.
The demons can talk to a sub worker to make sure you have the stale bread where the worker has the freedom to not listen but some might listen knowing that they made a deal with Satan. The worker would probably not be asked to do something unethical unless they were reincarnated demons that feel it is worth it.
Angels could be ones who decide to play on the opposite side of the court and make you make deals or trades for the greater good.
You can’t ask Satan for a love spell since it affects the other person, you can only ask for what affects you.
What if heaven and hell don’t exist for reward or punishment but are places where you can be with those who get the freedom to lawfully do good or evil to others. Like people don’t go to hell for anything they do on earth, we have prison for that. They can go to a place where demons collect to get the right to lawfully do evil to those who have made deals.
