Time travel teleporting demons/ghosts far into the future

Instead of capturing demons and ghosts and leaving them in a cage, we should teleport them into the furthest future away from us, even possibly the end of time. Doing this would be better than keeping them in a prison because if they escaped or the power went out, they would then feel free to torment or punish those who imprisoned them. The genie in the bottle is probably mad at who locked them in there. The future is also better than bringing them into the past since they couldn’t affect our history, plus sending things into the future creates no backwards in time issues.
