The United States decided on communism. Now each business and corporation decided to merge together. If they did not agree, they were told to move out from the country. (If a company moves to another country, there’s a chance that that country follows the US’s communist plan and that they again get asked to merge together or leave)
The US is now creating new communist cities, ones where everything is whole and housing sizes are similar and equal. Those who move into these cities are going to live without money. Those who do not move into the cities are making their purchases and salaries from the single US company. The US then has the plan to increase property taxes constantly year after year so that after 100-200 everyone should have moved into the new communist cities.
These communist cities are cleaner since we would likely not own cars. Less tire pollution, car maintenance, road repairs etc. Maglev would create no break wear so those are my best plan for transportation.
Those who live in the cities also receive the slightly newer end technology compared to those outside of them. Like say there’s a smartphone that never needs recharging, those within the cities have them while those outside have ones that need to recharge still.
I have a plan for housing sizes. Since we could go without lawns (this saves on lawn care work hours and the amount of water we needed treated to keep watering our non essential grasses and plants). A single person could have access to 1600 sq ft of personal space. They could divide that into 2,3, or 4 within the same city or throughout the country. Like 2 800 sq ft, 4 400 sq foot apartments, etc. If you ware to have a room mate or spouse you gain 400 sq feet. Then you get 400 sq feet per child with a cap at the space for 4. Meaning at 4 or more people your limited to 2800 sq feet where after the kids move out the parents move down to 2000 sq feet.
Plastic surgery and make up could disappear to lower the amount of labor and waste connected to that non essential. They were created from for profit ideas anyway and aren’t that good for us. With communism, we would have to supply everyone with the same plastic surgery amounts costing us more in total human labor. Plastic surgery isn’t good for reproduction since it shows your potential mate a false representation of what their offspring could have. Make up also isn’t a necessity and we could evolve to a time where it didn’t exist.
In the communist cities, we should also remove pet ownership. Dogs take up human labor in dog bite hospital visits, dog toys, dog food, vets, dog sitting and more. It also isn’t good for us to keep pets since it’s like we are enslaving them to being with us. Imagine a metaphysical god catching and keeping humans. Lets evolve.
If the communist city is on one single large foundation, one that doesn’t bend or move, then we lowered our labor connected to sidewalk and “road” repair. My idea for this foundation is to have 4 motorized poles supporting its weight, where if the foundation stops being level we move the city up or down on the poles. (like say one pole starts to sink so we reinforce it more while readjusting the height on the pole.)
Cities could also be bug and animal free if we dome it with screens since there’s no way for animals to get in from under the solid foundation. This lowers the need and the labor need for animal control and bug extermination chemicals.
Those outside of the cities would probably work less than currently, say 20-30 hours a week, since its more labor efficiently connected. They could also make the same salary while the prices of things increase slightly over time. Those within the cities would work 10 or less hours a week with newer and better tools and lifestyles. Without the non essentials of the current modern world their labor needs dropped even more. We could also heavily utilize robots during this transition.
Labor would be divided essential and non essential work. Entertainment and religious jobs are non essential and could continue on as volunteer work. Entertainment TV, Books, Musicians, Movies, Youtube videos, video games, athletes. We would still have “paid” writer that write books for schools and education but not for entertainment. With 10 hours a week, or 3 month 40 hour work seasons, I could see more people volunteering to be actors, writers, musicians, priests in their greatly increased free time. All the necessary equipment for tv shoes and such would be provided.
To pay off the national debt I have a few options. If there’s no money, we could arrange to give at what current values are with the debt frozen. Since there’s possibly less internet waste taking up the servers, we could sell our unused space to countries we are indebt to. We could also grow and make a certain amount of food each year. We could give away raw materials that we have in bulk. We could have robots make products that we give as repayment. (The other country didn’t use their energy or raw materials to make these. The products could then be recycled at their home land where they have more of certain materials.) We could also refurbish our last edition tech instead of recycling it and then sell it to countries who want to save on labor for making something otherwise exclusive to the United States. We could also sell some land, like the east or west coast. We could also repay by allowing a certain limit of yearly tourism within our moneyless future cities. We could also repay by sharing our discoveries or inventions.
People who move into the the cities may need to give their property and money to the government. Their money could then be used to start immediately paying off some of the debt where those countries can then buy from within the US. Or we pay off the debt without concerning for money since we plan on making it erased once we have it all. Those living within the USA would not be able to buy from outside of the US while living in the US, but they could move out or travel to other countries that still accept USD.
People who live in cities could also never need to cook or clean. It saves on food waste and labor if everyone goes out to eat or eats premade meals. Like a bag of apples doesn’t sit at someone’s house to rot and be thrown away. It also saves us on the labor of manufacturing personal kitchen ware like knives, ovens, skillets, blenders etc. People could have a set number of meals per week, premade or restaurant, where we focus on making them healthier and more appropriate portions. People could possibly have the right to some dry snacks in their house. Restaurants could offer no to go options unless you bring your own container. This would lower the material waste connected to packing fast food and fast casual food. We work less per hour and are in less of a rush and so designing for eating in with unbreaking dishware would save us some waste.
The communist cities could have cameras everywhere inside and out to prevent illegal activities. Less murder, theft, drug use, violence, domestic abuse and more when your on camera all the time. This could lower the labor needs of the police department and jail system.
Without personal vehicles and having a public rail system the would be no traffic jams. We also work 1/4th of the year where there’s less people leaving for work at the same time. Like someone works during the winters, another works during the summer, another works the spring, and the other works the fall.
In a new communist city we could disallow all soil within it’s boundaries. People would not have the ability to buy soil and seeds to grow their own plants. By disallowing this you wouldn’t have anyone illegally growing marijuana, tobacco or vegetarian for alcohol (if we decided to make it illegal). We’re can also make fruits in the apartment illegal so that no one tries to turn fruit into wine. It’s another way to limit drug use by making it impossible to grow or brew your own. It’s an idea not a requirement.
At first, the people who decided not to move into the new cities, could retain their current salaries while possibly lowering their weekly work hours to 30. SO like they are still getting paid $70k for their job but work less per week. This way they could still afford to pay their mortgage or live the current way that they do. There’s also the chance that the banks that merged together forgive mortgages of those who got laid off where they are still responsible for their property taxes which will rise to get everyone to move into the cities.
Businesses within America that are from other countries, would have the option to try to sell their equipment to nearby countries or to America. They can also ship it back to their homeland. If they do not choose to remove their equipment, they still do not have the right to sell anything here where they will still be responsible for paying property taxes. The same thing would happen to American companies on foreign soil where America could sell it for a slight National debt repayment. Like thinking about all the McDonalds restaurants and Ford plants and how they could use them still.
There would be no homelessness. Those who refuse to work could be forced to live in 50-100 sq foot studios without any access to entertainments. They could be limited to one or two meals a day and they could be unflavorful or unvarietied. The only things to watch or see on the internet would be videos or information connected to wanting them to go back to work. They would basically be cut off from all entertainments, hobbies and activities. Somewhat like jail without the jailcells or prison guards. I don’t see this happening since the amount of hours they are required to work is much less than current times.
I’m thinking that we could allow for citizens to create patents where it gets recorded that they were the inventors. The country then has the right to make the invention and have it internationally patent protected where other countries can’t make those items. We could also give license as a country patents to other countries as a trade. Like a new watch is invented and the USA gives it to Germany in exchange for some debt repayment. Germany then has the right to make those watches for their citizens or to make and trade with other countries. I’m thinking that if every country turns communist that the majority of trades would be for basic needs or debt repayments. Basic needs could be resources that they are low on where if everyone plans for 100 percent recycling within their territories then there shouldn’t be too many resources that we trade for.
(Another way to pay off the national debt
Make America communist, one company
Print off 31 trillion in new bills
Give the money to pay off the debt
Then try to keep prices constant so that countries can buy without being worried about the value changing. That way they don’t buy fast and right away. It shouldnt depreciate in value of the value of the for sale items stay constant.
We then can still try to get American citizens to move into new communist cities by raising property tax yearly and without ever increasing wages)
